Lonely (Samoća)

A critically ill old man, disillusioned with his life, fantasizes about visiting his beloved river once more, where he always felt happiest, and also about publishing a collection of poems as a legacy of his life. Feeling alone, he eagerly awaits the visit of his nephews, whom he raised as if they were his sons, but apart from their desire for his inheritance, he does not find the love and comfort he needs. He finds hope in an unexpected friendship with his roommate, with whom he shares many interests.
